With the ringing in of 2022, Florida markets continue their dominance, comprising 14 of the fastest 20 appreciating ZIP codes.
For a 15th straight month, 80+% of ZIP codes with sufficient data are appreciating. However, the appreciation rate is no longer accelerating. Furthermore, another fluctuating trend is starting to settle in: sales volumes are now down far more than the previous two years in the pandemic. Nationally, sales volumes were down by more than half in January compared to last year!
All ZIP codes in the top 20 fastest appreciating this month have seen price per square foot jump by at least 46%, with the top neighbourhood in Seierville, TN very nearly doubling.
