Estated only considers a request as billable when a property record is returned via the API. Usage is tracked during a billing period and totalled at the start of the subsequent billing period. If the subscription plan includes a set number of API calls (that is API calls that returned a property record), then that is compared with the usage during the billing period. If there are billable calls that exceed the call amount for the given plan, it is added to the subsequent invoice as an overage charge.
